In this life we only get one body. That is it. This is not a dress rehearsal.
Your body was made to move. Since you were in your mothers’ womb, stretching, moving, growing…you must give the same treatment to it as an adult. Many people hate the idea of exercise, but it is imperative to your health. Any movement will do.
There are many things that you can do for movement: dance, yoga, weight lifting, Tai Chi, Hiking, etc. One exercise does not fit all. Just because your brother can run for miles doesn’t mean that you have to. If your best friend is a Pilates lover, but you like to sweat it out with the guys by the free weights, it doesn’t matter. Just MOVE!
Today, start a plan for you to eat healthier and move your body at least four times out of the week for 30 minutes. If you keep it up, you will find that it becomes addictive and you can increase your time.
